On October 6, 2026, DIGITALWERK Festival took place in Munich as an event held alongside EXPO REAL, the international trade fair for real estate and investment. The festival brought together professionals from the real estate, construction, investment, and technology sectors, providing a platform for discussions on the future of the industry and the development of international business relationships. Activ Investment attended the event, represented by a team led by Thomas Podstawski, the company’s leader. The company was also one of the official partners of this year’s festival.
From October 5 to 7, Munich once again became one of the key meeting points for the European real estate industry. EXPO REAL attracted developers, investors, financial institutions, and industry experts from numerous countries. Over the years, the trade fair has established itself as an important platform for exchanging knowledge, presenting investment projects, and discussing the future direction of the real estate market.
Held alongside the trade fair, DIGITALWERK Festival took place on October 6 at Teatro München, bringing together professionals from the real estate, construction, and technology sectors. The event’s format encouraged direct interaction and meaningful discussions beyond the traditional conference setting.
Activ Investment was represented at the festival by a team led by Thomas Podstawski. The company also participated as one of the event’s partners, supporting an initiative dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals across the European real estate industry.
DIGITALWERK Festival brought together representatives from various segments of the market, including property developers, investors, construction companies, and technology businesses. This diverse group of participants provided an opportunity to examine industry challenges from different perspectives and discuss solutions that could shape the future of European construction and real estate.
Key topics included evolving market demands, new approaches to real estate development, and the growing importance of collaboration between companies with different areas of expertise.
Among the event’s special guests were Peer Steinbrück, former German Federal Minister of Finance, and Benjamin Würth. Their participation added valuable economic and business perspectives to the programme, broadening discussions on the challenges facing today’s market.
For the Activ Investment team, the festival offered valuable opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, gain fresh perspectives, and exchange insights into investment activities and the development of the real estate sector.
The European real estate market continues to evolve. Changing customer expectations, emerging investment models, the increasing role of technology, and the challenges associated with project development require market participants to remain adaptable and open to new solutions.
In this environment, international industry events play an important role. They provide opportunities to identify emerging trends, compare experiences across different markets, and establish relationships that may lead to future business partnerships.
For Activ Investment, a company with 30 years of experience in the Polish real estate market, participating in DIGITALWERK Festival represented another opportunity to expand its international network and exchange knowledge with industry partners. The meetings in Munich offered fresh perspectives on familiar challenges and provided insights into approaches and solutions adopted by companies operating in other European markets.
The company’s participation in this year’s festival reflects its continued commitment to strengthening business relationships, staying informed about developments across the sector, and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.
Finally, we would like to extend our thanks to Michél-Philipp Maruhn and the entire DIGITALWERK team for organising the event and giving us the opportunity to participate as a partner. We would also like to thank all participants for the valuable conversations, openness, and exchange of experiences.
